NYMC School of Medicine Student Senate Launches New Academic Year with Fresh Initiatives
Student Representatives Gear Up to Foster Collaboration and Comprehensive Support

As the 2024-2025 new academic year kicks off, the New York Medical College (NYMC) School of Medicine (SOM) Student Senate is now officially active and ready to engage with the year's endeavors. This year’s Senate comprises 21 student representatives elected by their peers, including five senators from each class and the student senate president. Throughout the year, these representatives will collaborate with students, faculty, and administrators to ensure the success and overall well-being of the entire NYMC community.

Additionally, I’m committed to expanding volunteer opportunities at NYMC to foster a sense of community within the greater Westchester area. "I am honored to serve as the Senate outreach coordinator for this academic year. This role provides a unique opportunity to foster connections within our NYMC community, bridging the gap between current students and our esteemed alumni. One of my primary goals is to organize alumni mixers, creating avenues for students to forge lasting relationships with alumni who possess invaluable knowledge and experience to guide us in our journey to becoming exceptional physicians.
